How wrinkle-relaxing injections work
​Wrinkle-relaxing injections use a purified protein to gently relax overactive facial muscles that cause lines to form.
When precisely administered, they soften existing wrinkles and prevent new ones from becoming etched into the skin — without freezing your natural expression.
Results develop gradually over 7–14 days and typically last around 3–4 months, with longevity improving over time as the muscles learn to stay relaxed.

What is Botox and what does it contain?
Botox® is the brand name for a prescription-only medicine that contains Botulinum Toxin Type A, a purified protein derived from a naturally occurring bacterium.
When used in very small, controlled doses, it temporarily relaxes specific facial muscles to soften lines and prevent new wrinkles forming.
It has been used safely in both medical and aesthetic settings for more than 20 years.
How long do results last?
Results typically last around 3–4 months. With regular maintenance, some clients find the effects last longer as the muscles retrain.
Will I look ‘frozen’?
No. Dr Home’s technique focuses on balance and subtlety — allowing natural expression while softening unwanted lines.
Does it hurt?
Discomfort is minimal and short-lived. Ultra-fine needles are used, and treatment usually takes less than 15 minutes.
When will I see results?
You’ll start to notice softening after 3–5 days, with full results visible at around two weeks.
Is there downtime?
No significant downtime — you can return to normal activities straight away, though you should avoid heavy exercise, massage, or lying flat for four hours post-treatment.
