Dermal filler treatments
At Dr Home Aesthetics, dermal fillers are used to restore harmony, structure and subtle volume - enhancing your natural features without altering your individuality.
Ageing naturally leads to a gradual loss of collagen, fat, and bone support within the face.
This can cause the skin to appear less lifted and lines to become more noticeable.
The aim with dermal filler treatment is not to change your face, but to gently replace what time has taken away - restoring soft volume and contour for a refreshed, balanced appearance.

What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are gel-like substances made from hyaluronic acid - a molecule naturally found in the skin that attracts and retains moisture.
When carefully injected, they can lift, contour, or hydrate specific areas, providing immediate yet natural-looking rejuvenation.
At Dr Home Aesthetics, only premium, medical-grade fillers are used from trusted global brands (including the Juvederm® range by Allergan).

Frequently asked questions
Are dermal fillers safe?
Yes - when performed by a qualified medical practitioner, dermal fillers are considered safe and well-tolerated. At Dr Home Aesthetics, only FDA-approved, medical-grade products are used in a professional, clinical setting.
As with any injectable treatment, there can be mild and temporary side effects such as redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising, which are usually more noticeable the following day and settle within a few days.
Serious complications are very rare, but can include allergic reactions or, in extremely uncommon cases, disruption to blood supply in small vessels. Dr Home will explain the warning signs to look out for and, if needed, treatment is reversible with a prescription medicine that helps restore blood flow and prevent scarring.

What happens during the treatment?
After a detailed consultation and mapping of your facial anatomy, the filler is carefully injected using either a fine needle or cannula for accuracy and comfort. Treatment takes around 30–45 minutes.
Is it painful?
Juvederm® fillers that we use in clinic contain a local anaesthetic, and additional numbing cream can be applied if needed. Discomfort is minimal.
How long do results last?
Depending on the area and product used, results typically last 9–18 months, with gradual natural breakdown over time.
Will I look “done”?
No. Dr Home’s philosophy is grounded in regenerative and restorative aesthetics. The goal is balance and confidence — never exaggeration.
What’s the difference between fillers and skin boosters?
Fillers add structure and support deeper layers, while skin boosters hydrate and improve skin quality at the surface. They can be used separately or together for complementary results.
